First Street Methodist Mission was filled with music and laughing today. It may have been cold and cloudy outside, but our friends were inside celebrating together.
We couldn’t make events like Thanksgiving baskets happen, nor any of our year-round services for that matter, without the generosity of the First Church community, so again—THANK YOU!
In Matthew, we are called to be the light of the world; to be a source of comfort and reassurance to those we meet along our faith journey. I invite you to be that source of illumination during this Easter season by making a “Second Mile” Easter offering that will support three life-changing ministries.
The Mission parking lot has been transformed into a sacramental table that respectfully feeds people in body, mind, and spirit.

Over these past 4 months, I have been unbelievably grateful for First Street Methodist Mission for a variety of selfish reasons. I hope you heard Rev. Lance Marshall and Dr. Mike Marshall share the exciting news on Sunday morning about current giving here at FUMCFW. Total giving — giving that supports designated ministries, programs, Next90, and partner organizations — is up an amazing 30% in comparison to 2019. Thank you!
