It wasn’t really until I was a young adult that, through some powerful experiences with the Holy Spirit, that I began to see the Bible in a new way. Maybe the Bible was more than just the categories I tried to fit it into.
Maybe the key to keeping our balance when our world is spinning around us is in naming those truths about our church’s life together, and particularly our church’s life together with LGBT+ people that can keep us steady.
This Wednesday, at TCU, will be Paschal High School’s annual No More Symposium. The No More Symposium is an annual gathering of people committed to advocating for adolescent mental health, and suicide prevention.
Amidst the mess and the noise and the chaos that came with snow days also came an opportunity to be part of the lives of those kids, and to enjoy with them the fun and wonder of the weather and a surprise day off from school.
