Here we are a week into the new year, and today’s reading from Proverbs is full of wisdom to ponder as we think about what lies ahead in our lives.
January 6th is Epiphany. At Epiphany we focus on the visit of the wise men—or magi as they are called in scripture—from the east.
Today’s passage of scripture is about the Holy Spirit — “the divine presence in our lives whereby we are kept in perpetual remembrance of the truth of Christ and find strength and help in time of need.”
