I remember when I was dating Saby, our relationship became more serious and formal over time.

In addition to being strong, God asks this of Joshua (be courageous) since he must lead the people who followed Moses into the Promised Land.
Joshua is about to succeed Moses because he passed away (a man loved and respected by all).
In this book, we do not see the origin of Joshua. We see his beginning as a leader of the people of Israel.
