Solomon, in this part of the proverbs, portrays wisdom as a woman and says that on the one hand, she has a long life and in riches and honor, her ways are pleasant and peaceful, she produces life, and those who hold to her have happiness. And there is so much truth in this. We all have a great woman who has been influential in our life.
In this verse, Solomon describes the one who finds wisdom as “blessed.” The word “blessed” means happy. Psalm 1:1 identifies the “blessed” (happy) person as the one who rejects the lifestyle of the wicked but delights in God’s Word.
The God who guides removes obstacles, and provides abundantly for His people can be trusted to discipline them for their good and His glory.

Many times, some stages of our life can be very frustrating and desperate. Especially when it comes to health, when our health decreases, and we begin to decline due to the often-aggressive treatments we must take, our body and its natural functioning are affected in many ways.
As a child in Sunday school, one of the most recurring stories every year was about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, three men who had very firm convictions of faithfulness to God.

After your father and I are gone, you will need each other!” “Soap is cheap. There’s no excuse for being dirty.”
In the context provided by Solomon in the book of Proverbs, the word fear does not mean fear as one feels when entering a dark and unknown place. In this instance, fear means respect, reverence, awe, admiration, submission, and obedience.
