We were going through a difficult time in Mexico. We had just arrived in the country, I did not have an official appointment at the Church, and the company where I was working had a minimum base salary and could not make clients due to the pandemic; therefore, there began to be shortages.
Juan was a boy who played with his friends in his neighborhood, played soccer, rode bicycles, and had other typical adventures children had. Juan was a member of a family with limited economic resources.
If there is one thing that hurts us as parents, it is to see our children fail.
