Congratulations to the FUMCFW Kids Hope USA Mentoring team! Our 42 volunteers just completed the 2017 – 2018 school year, this year serving at not one, but two elementary schools by reading, mentoring, loving, and encouraging their students. Children at Nash Elementary and T.A. Sims Elementary are paired with First Church volunteers who give them one-on-one attention each week and help them grow in confidence and academic success.

Gay Ingram leads great ministry and gives so much of herself to the students and the volunteers. She and all the other volunteers give of themselves to contribute to the education and well-being of our Fort Worth children. Kids Hope volunteers embody the idea of “going out to be God’s people in the world.”
