Give Easter Lilies a Place to Bloom

By March 20, 2020

While no one is certain when this time of “social distancing” and online worship will end — and if we will indeed be celebrating Holy Week and Easter services online — one thing is clear: Worship will go on and we still need to adorn our worship spaces with Easter lilies purchased in honor or memory of a loved one.

Whether you purchase one or a dozen or more, these lilies will still be used to adorn our Easter Sunday services AND they will be planted in designated areas on our campus so that they can return to remind us of your loved ones year after year.

Our new landscaping team, led by Master Gardener and Trustee Barbara Duckworth, supported by Sandy Williams, Director of Operations, will be busy at work this spring and early summer to get all the new campus plantings in and ready for a beautiful summer at First Church.
