Whether you’re new to FUMCFW, newly energized in your faith journey, or looking for a new way to engage with this dynamic and welcoming faith community, Discover FUMCFW Visitor Coffee, held on the first Sunday of each month, any time between 10:30 and 11:00 am in the FUMCFW Library is the place to be.
At this come-and-go event, you can enjoy a cup of coffee, visit with our pastors, staff, and other church members, and make personal connections that will help you find your place in the ministries of FUMCFW.
We started this once-a-month coffee to give visitors a special place to connect with people while they’re here, as well as to find out how or where to take their next steps to get connected at FUMCFW,” says Lisa Helm, Director of Welcoming Ministries. “We want everyone to know how happy we are they have chosen to visit and worship with us on Sunday — and we really love the opportunity to actually meet them when they’re here!”
She pauses, then adds, “It’s kind of funny — because we are a big church I think visitors are always a little surprised to see our pastors — usually Tim (Dr. Tim Bruster, Senior Pastor) or Lance (Rev. Lance Marshall, Senior Associate Pastor) or Zhenya (Dr. Zhenya Gurina-Rodruiguez, Associate Pastor of Grace Groups & Discipleship) or Mike (Dr. Mike Marshall, Associate Pastor of Leadership Development) — in the Library in the middle of a busy Sunday morning. But our clergy really loves a chance to visit with our guests!”
