Midyear Financial Update

I hope this message finds you well as we move through the heart of 2025 together.

First and foremost, thank you. Your generosity is what fuels our church’s mission to be a faithful presence of Christ in Fort Worth and beyond. Every time a child sings in VBS, a youth spends a week serving their neighbors on a mission trip, or someone finds belonging in a small group, it’s made possible because of people like you who give with joyful and open hearts.

As Finance Chair, I am stepping in for Lance during his renewal leave to take a moment to update you on where we stand financially. At the halfway point of the year, we are grateful that giving remains strong: we are tracking at just over 97% of budget, and 53% of committed dollars have been received. We continue to be careful stewards of your gifts, ensuring that every dollar serves our mission with integrity and purpose. Your ongoing support helps us meet our commitments and dream boldly about what’s ahead.

Jesus spoke often about money—not to make us uncomfortable, but to invite us to reflect on what matters most. Our giving is never just about dollars and cents; it’s about shaping our lives around God’s priorities, and your giving is a testament to that alignment.

If you’re in a place to initiate, maintain, or increase your giving, it helps us continue strong into the second half of the year. If you’re facing challenges, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our church is here to walk with you through every season.

Thank you again for all the ways you support and sustain the ministries of First Fort Worth.

With gratitude,

Sandra Bembenek
