During this period of five days, the group led by Chuck helped two sisters and a child tarp their roof, a Vietnam vet and his wife clear debris to create a path for a medical van to take him to his cancer treatments (his cancer is from agent orange).
In addition to the physical work, this team cooked meals in the local church to help serve this town of 10,000 people with no drinkable water for more than a month following the disastrous storms.
Starting October 5, Charme and Dwight Robarts will lead another team to this devastated area to offer continued help with cleanup and support to the people there still living in need.
