After you drop your kids off at FUMC Day School, pop in for a light breakfast, some fellowship and some study. This study is for all the women who want to know what faithfulness looks like in perilous times. We will be doing this by looking at the women of Exodus. For too long biblical womanhood has felt like a cookie-cutter vision of a 1950’s sitcom that never existed in real life. We can look back to our biblical role-models and see resistance, strength, collaboration, truth-telling, wit, and justice springing forth from the stories that are rarely told, much less linked to our lives in the 21st century. Whether you know lots about the Bible or nothing, we’d love for you to come and join us as we find our strength and voices together. No need to bring anything but yourselves.
