The second half of Mark’s Gospel has a rhythm all its own. The road turns toward Jerusalem, the questions grow sharper, and following Jesus becomes more complicated, courageous, and costly.
Beginning September 10, we will explore Mark 9–16 together, reading closely, asking honest questions, and paying attention to the details that make this Gospel both unsettling and alive. We will walk with disciples who do not always understand, encounter people who see what others miss, and follow the story toward the cross, the empty tomb, and an ending that still asks something of its readers.
You do not need to have attended our study of chapters 1–8. These chapters form a distinct movement within Mark, and learners of every experience level are warmly welcomed.
There is no homework and no preparation required. Simply bring your Bible, your questions, and your willingness to learn alongside others.
Registration is requested so that we can prepare the room and welcome you well.
