As new members, while the Disciples Path sessions were a wonderful introduction to the Church, we now feel much more connected after spending time Sunday mornings in the Welcome Center.  With Donna Smith’s kind help and introductions, we have met so many wonderful people and learned a lot about when and where classes and activities are held.  We have now met most of the small group leaders and have a better idea of which groups will be a good match for us. I’ve joined a new book club after meeting leaders of the Rooted class which I’m looking forward to.  Last Sunday, we joined friends and new friends for brunch after church which was very fun!

So we would definitely encourage new members to help at the Welcome Center before or after a service. It has been a very fun and fulfilling experience
