One: In the beginning, when the Lord God made the heavens and the earth,
All: God formed us from the dust of the ground and breathed into us the breath of life.
One: The Lord planted a garden, rich with beauty, full of promise, and overflowing with life.
All: God placed us in that sacred space to live, to grow, and to walk with Him.
One: Let us come before God, who formed us with care and intention.
All: Let us worship the Lord our God with joy and gratitude. Amen.

One: Seniors, we want you and your families to remain standing up front as we affirm the vows we’ve said over you throughout these years. Through the sacrament of baptism you were initiated into Christ’s holy church by the steadfast love and grace of God.
All: We committed to pray for you and to nurture you in your journey of faith through our words and our deeds.
One: Through confirmation, you reaffirmed your faith, renewing the covenant declared at your baptism.
All: We welcomed you into membership and were encouraged by your claiming of this tradition, and community.
One: Through church membership, you have taken seriously the call to be a disciple of Christ and, through the Holy Spirit, have grown in grace, knowledge, and maturity.
All: We encouraged you to question and challenge, we served alongside you, and we were inspired and transformed by your witness.
One: Through this recognition, we send you out, knowing that God goes with you wherever you go.
