*Call to Worship
One: Brothers and sisters in Christ: Through the Sacrament of Baptism, we become part of God’s family and God’s story, and we are given new birth through water and the Spirit.
All: All of this is God’s gift, offered to us without price.
One: Through Confirmation – the claiming of our faith as our own – we renew the covenant declared at our baptism, acknowledge the work God is doing in our lives and the world around us, and accept the Christian community as our home.
All: This is our home, where we are seen, we are known and we are loved, just as we are.
One: Our story is not yet complete. There is still work to be done as the hands and feet of God in this world, showing kindness, compassion and love to the stranger and neighbor alike.
All: Our work is not yet finished. Thanks be to God! Amen.

*Congregational Blessing
We give thanks for all that God has already given you and we welcome you in Christian love. As members together with you in the body of Christ and in this congregation of the United Methodist Church, we renew our covenant to faithfully participate in he ministries of the Church by our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness, that in everything, God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.
*Affirmation of Faith (written by the Confirmation Class of 2025
We believe in God; creator of all things on earth and in heaven.
God’s love and presence in our lives is unwavering.
No imperfection or sin can separate us from God.
We believe in Jesus, who is our example in all that we do by the
way he loved people.
He loved us so much that he chose death on a cross so that
our sins would be forgiven.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who gently nudges us along our
faith journey to keep us on the right path.
We believe that the church should be a safe place where all of
God’s children are welcome.
Through worship, Bible study, and fellowship, the church is
where we learn more about God before going out into the
world to share the good news.
*Gloria Patri 70
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.
Scripture: Joshua 24:14-15

Pastoral Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)
