*Call to Worship
One: Come, weary travelers, searching for the mighty fortress of God.
All: We follow the light that never fades. It is a flame kindled by God.
One: When the path is uncertain and the night feels long, sacred light leads us on.
All: Guided toward a place of safety, drawn toward the heart of home.
One: This is the Holy One who does not leave us in the dark—who turns fear into clarity, and wandering into welcome.
All: We come to worship the One who lights our way and calls us home. Amen.
*Passing of the Peace
*Hymn 110: “A Mighty Fortress Is our God”
*Affirmation of Faith 881
Rev. Phyllis Barren, Associate Pastor
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic◦ church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
*Gloria Patri 70
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.

Pastoral Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)

*Benediction
One: Our gathering will soon be ended. Where will we go, and what will we do?
All: We will go out to be God’s people in the world.
One: May grace, peace, hope, love, and joy forever accompany you. Amen.
