*Call to Worship
One: In the beginning, God drew light from the depths, shaping beauty from formlessness and calling creation good.
All: We come to the One who still creates—who speaks light into our chaos and breathes life into our days.
One: In the waters of baptism, God names us Beloved and claims us with a love that does not fail.
All: We remember the waters that held us, the Spirit who descended, the voice that calls us by grace.
One: Let us bring our whole selves—our tangled thoughts, our weary hearts, our longing for new beginning.
All: Creator God, weave us again in your love. Make us new. Make us radiant with your light. Amen.

*Hymn 173: “Christ Whose Glory Fills The Skies”
*Affirmation of Faith 881
Rev. Lance Marshall, Senior Pastor
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic◦ church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Baptismal Renewal
One: Sisters and brothers, today we recall that Christ came to the waters of baptism. We remember that through baptism, God claims us and calls us. God frees us from the powers of sin and death.
All: We remember that by water and the Spirit, we are made one with Christ, one with each other, and one in ministry to all the world.
One: Almighty God, dying and rising in Christ through water gives us new life. Your love never fails. Your mercy is everlasting. Your life is eternal.
All: Your healing river flows and your Spirit blows. We cannot stop you, O God of new life
One: but sometimes we try to redirect the winds of the Spirit. Or we walk so far away from the Life-giving Stream that we forget its sound and its power.
All: Come refresh us, O God of new life!
One: Come upon us, Holy Spirit! Come upon these waters.
All: Come upon us, Holy Spirit! Come upon these waters.
One: Let these waters remind us of your limitless grace. Let these waters renew in us the life of love to which you have called us.
All: Let these waters remind us of your coming reign. Let these waters be a sign of community and calling. Let us remember that each one is your beloved child. Amen.
