One: Come now to God in whose presence each of us find the strength to be extraordinary, this means to be rich, a position of importance no matter who we are or what we have: all flourish in the kingdom and achieve more than they ever dreamed. Should I throw in my meager gifts? It’s all that I have.
All: This is the challenge we face.
One: Is it worth anything if I can’t give it up?
All: We know that everything we have is God’s.
One: Come let us bring who we are and what we have to God’s service.
All: Amen.

Pastoral Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)
