One: God, in your wisdom, you call us here to worship you.
All: We gather in gratitude, ready to listen.
One: You give us the gift of joy, yet we are worried, and our lives are cluttered.
All: We respond in peace, ready to focus.
One: In the midst of toil, our minds are racing and our hands our clinging to so many things.
All: We stand in God’s grace, ready to slow us down and loosen our grip.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
