First Yoga is our comprehensive fitness ministry program led by Linda Blanchard. Linda is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Therapist, certified through Yoga Alliance, who has been practicing and teaching yoga for more than 12 years. With the Yoga Therapist certification Linda is able to teach integrated yoga classes for all levels of fitness and ability. This special level of certification also allows her to address individual needs of anatomy and alignment as well as challenges brought about by specific health conditions, aging, or mobility issues. Linda’s training also includes work with chiropractors, physical therapists, and kinesiologists, and she especially enjoys working with individuals to achieve optimum therapeutic results from her specially designed sequences and breathing exercises.
