What’s Next in Our Concert Series!

Robert StovallThese past few weeks have been truly enjoyable when it comes to music in our church. So far in our 2016 – 2017 Concert Series we’ve enjoyed the Spectrum Series concert in our Chapel and our Choral Union’s presentation of Mozart’s “Coronation Mass.” Now let’s talk about what’s next!

You may have noticed that we have The Gift of Music Concert Series well-communicated throughout the church on posters and banners as well as through our social media channels, WRR radio, and Weekly News. If you have a chance, glance at one or all of these communication avenues and you will find our entire year of music presentations — ready for you to mark on your calendar!

As the month of November rapidly approaches, we are providing our membership and community two wonderful music opportunities beyond our regular Sunday worship experience. Our November 6 All Saints’ Concert will feature Choral Union, Adoramus, members of the phenomenal Fort Worth Symphony, and our friend, guest organist Dr. Bradley Welch, in this extraordinary performance. The music of Ralph Vaughan Williams, Joseph Jongen, and Dan Forrest will be presented by these three different entities. I know you will want to be a part of this incredible, emotional experience at 7:00 pm in our Sanctuary.

On November 17, our church will host another evening concert presented by the choirs of the University of North Texas, Keller Central High School, and Mansfield High School. These three rich-in-tradition choral departments offer us a wonderful collage of choral music.

I’m sure you will want to plan to be with us at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary for this enjoyable evening of choral music provided by these three outstanding choirs.

What’s next? More to come!
