Wednesday Nights at First Church
February 17 | February 24 | March 2 | March 9
Ever longed to have:
- Quiet time just to be still, breathe, and be with God at thee end of your workday — a little time and space to shift gears, reflect, and allow yourself some centering calm before beginning your evening?
- Friendly fellowship with your church family in the middle of the week — nothing to bring or prepare, just show up, share a meal, and laugh together?
- More information about a sermon series to prepare you for each week’s opportunity — to explore, learn, and go deeper into the message?
Four Wednesday evenings at First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth are set aside to help you meet these longings. Come for all or part of each Wednesday evening offering:
A Time of Reflection and Communion
5:00 – 6:00 pm | Come and go | Leonard Memorial Chapel
Take a little time for yourself in this intimate, hourlong come-and-go opportunity for quiet reflection, meditation, prayer, and Communion surrounded by special music from First Church’s celebrated musical artists Rev. Tom McDermott, guitarist, Hans Grim, pianist, and world-class cellist Dace Sultanov in the quiet beauty of Leonard Memorial Chapel.
5:45 – 6:30 pm | Wesley Hall | $5 per person at the door
Enjoy a simple meal with family, friends — and maybe even a few new friends you haven’t met yet — in the congenial atmosphere of Wesley Hall. No reservations necessary — just come on in and bring your friends!
6:30 – 7:30 pm | Room 350 | Led by Dr. Tim Bruster
Dig a little deeper into the Seven Facets of Salvation explored in our Saving Grace Lenten Sermon Series in this special four-part study led by Senior Pastor Dr. Tim Bruster.
