How about a Walk to Emmaus?

Bette Johnson1First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth is beginning a new Emmaus Community! Our first event is Sunday, April 10, 2016, at 5:30 pm in Wesley Hall. This is a small worship/fellowship experience for those who have been to or are interested in learning more about a Walk to Emmaus.

If you’ve never heard of a Walk to Emmaus, we’ll fill you in! A Walk to Emmaus is a very meaningful 72-hour spiritual retreat at a lovely location such as Glen Lake in Glen Rose. There are Walks for Women and there are Walks for Men. It is meant to enhance their spiritual journey. It is a group of people who want to love and serve God. Those who have completed a Walk tend to become more involved in church leadership and servanthood.

We invite you to our April 10 event to see the joy involved. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Fred Cantu (fcantu@carterpark.com) at 817/368-5238, or Bette Johnson (bette@specialmomentstravel.com) at 817/821-2344.

Thank you and we hope to see you there!

Blessings,

Bette Johnson
