As the bulk of America’s baby boomers achieves “Silver Sneaker” status, researchers predict that the largest population in our nation’s history will be dealing with age-related dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Fortunately for those familiar with the work of Teepa Snow, one of America’s leading educators on dementia care, families and caregivers throughout the world are discovering her Positive Approach® to Care that results in life lived more fully and well at each stage.
And now, thanks to a generous bequest from the Ostby family, FUMCFW has been chosen as host and site for a two-year series of groundbreaking Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support programs developed by Teepa Snow. Best of all, in September of 2018, Snow herself will come to Fort Worth to personally deliver her extraordinary teaching style; witty, energetic, and engaging delivery; and specially developed techniques and training models in the FUMCFW Sanctuary.
To get a sneak peek at Teepa’s processes and techniques that are changing the experiences of patients and caregivers throughout the world — and learn more about how you can help spread the word to those who need this vital information most in our community — please join us on:
