Puerto Rico and Habitat This Saturday!

This Sunday, May 6, we begin our Texas & Beyond Outreach second-mile campaign to better inform our congregation regarding our many international and local ministries, and to raise funds to support them through our second-mile gifts.

For instance, this Saturday we are leaving for Puerto Rico to work in remote areas (Maunabo and Guayamaon) rebuilding and repairing homes damaged by the recent hurricane. While we are traveling, others from our church will be serving while building a new home in Fort Worth through our local Habitat for Humanity. Your gifts will support our Disaster Response (over 50 trained volunteers serving locally and internationally), Habitat for Humanity funding, Neighbor 2 Neighbor (local home repairs and assistance), education for children in Kenya, our Costa Rica Mission Trip supplies, our Fort Worth Ronald McDonald House, and others.

Please give generously this Sunday through Sunday, June 3, when we will have our special Celebration Sunday in all worship services. You can donate using the special envelope provided in worship May 6 – June 3 and in the Main Office and Welcome Center, by check (payable to FUMCFW with Texas & Beyond in the memo line) mailed or brought to the Main Church Office, or online at fumcfw.org/givenow (choose Texas & Beyond from the drop-down menu). Thank you for your prayers, love, and support for these vital ministries in our church.

Grace and Peace,

Rev. Chuck Graff
Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries
