If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. — Thomas H. Palmer, “Teacher’s Manual”
When my kids were little, without fail, I got them up, dressed, fed and out the door in time for school. On Saturdays, they had a ballet class and somehow, once again, I managed to feed them, put their hair in a bun and deliver them to class on time. However, for some strange reason, on Sundays, it was always a struggle to get to church on time. If I could have just crossed one thing off of my “to do” list on Sundays — like fixing breakfast — it would have made a huge difference.
So, I am so excited to say that on Sundays, at 8:45 am in Wesley Hall, we will sell breakfast tacos from Peral Snap Kolaches. It is $2/taco OR $5/3 tacos — CASH ONLY. We will be in there from 8:45 am until the 9:30 am Gathering service begins and will sell them again at 10:30 am before the 11:00 Worship Services begins.
We have actually done this for the past two weeks. The first week, we ordered too many and had LOTS left over. Last week, we cut back the number ordered, but the delivery person delivered the tacos . . . to another church! As an apology for the mix-up, they did deliver tacos to FUMCFW before the 11:00 service, and if you were one of the lucky people in Wesley Hall, Pearl Snap gave tacos to everyone who wanted one free of charge!
We’re giving it another go this week so, I want to invite everyone to take breakfast off the “to do” list on Sunday and pop by for breakfast tacos!
See you in Wesley Hall!
