“Shepherds — We Make Our Way by Walking”

Featuring the music of the Barenaked Ladies, Sufjan Stevens, the Indigo Girls, and some favorite Carols, as well as the Comic Nativity interpretations of Improv First!

It seems the holidays are always filled with a mixture of wonder and joy, as well as anxiety and sadness. But this year’s Advent is particularly filled with overtones of violence, anger, hatred, and fear. So I hope you can join us on Sunday for a little perspective, joy, and inspiration!

See you then!

 Come early for the pre-concert:

“Peter Mayer is a magician . . . (his) universe is full of metaphor and meaning, story, and symbol — everything contains more than meets the eye.”

—   Bill Reed, music editor, Colorado Springs Gazette

Peter Mayer writes songs for a small planet — songs about interconnectedness and the human journey; about the beauty and the mystery of the world. Whimsical, humorous, and profound, his music breaks the boundaries of “folk,” and transcends to a realm beyond the everyday love song, to a place of wonder at the very fact of life itself. Take a break from your shopping and wrapping and Christmas “busy-ness as usual” and gift yourself with an evening of amazing music, inspirational moments (and maybe a little bit of surprise and wonder where you least expect it!) Come early for our annual drum circle at 6:00 pm in the Garden. No drumming experience necessary and fun for all ages! Bring your drum or use ours. Questions? Contact Gayle Ammerman (

If you want to experience the breadth, depth, and mastery of Peter’s whimsical and inspiring music, join us for a fun evening with friends at the concert on Saturday, December 19.
