Lent is a special time to grow in new ways on our spiritual journeys, and attending a new Lenten Study, visiting a Sunday School class, worshipping with us at the many service offerings, and other opportunities for growth and renewal are all ways to deepen our relationships with God and one another. Besides the seasonal studies, “First Talks — Ideas Worth Talking About!” is the new Adult Education discussion group now meeting in Room 350 every Sunday morning at 9:30 am that offers exciting, informative presentations followed by facilitated, engaging conversations around each topic of the day.
Here are the March offerings:
March 5: Andria Bicknell, “Lollipop Leadership” TED Talk by Drew Dudley
March 12: Elysa Drillette, “Left Brain, Right Brain, and our Interconnection” TED Talk by Jill Bolte Taylor
March 19: Peter Canning, “Restorative Justice”
March 26: Os Flores, “Avoiding Burnout: Give Me More! A Practitioner’s Perspective”
Please contact Charme Robarts (crobarts@myfumc.org) for more information, or drop by Room 350 this Sunday morning.
Please review all of the Lenten classes and offerings, and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
Blessings,
Pastor Chuck
