On Sunday, January 22, FUMCFW will kick off a new Adult Education discussion group called First Talks on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am in Room 350. First Talks will offer an ongoing series of succinct, exciting TED Talk-style presentations followed by facilitated, engaging conversations around each topic of the day. From artists to entrepreneurs and great thinkers of all sorts, every week different speakers from around the Metroplex will enlighten us with presentations sure to incite engaging conversations that will lead us to the Spirit in every facet of life.
First up is Karen Blessen, Founder and Executive Artistic Director of 29 Pieces, a nonprofit organization which uses art to awaken, uplift, and give voice to the creative human spirit to create genuine, positive social change. Karen is a force for good, using the arts and her uncanny ability to draw people together for positive change.
