Security Search for Open Eyes

By March 1, 2018Security

Dear Congregation,

It is with great pleasure that I see and greet so many people of different backgrounds and personalities as they enter the church or move about the church grounds. I can honestly say that God knows best and has a plan for us all.

The sincerity of each and every one of you is cherished by me and the members of the Security/FUMCFW Staff that I have the privilege of working with daily. With all of this in mind — and placing importance on the safety of the members, visitors, and staff — FUMCFW Security, along with other key members of the FUMCFW Staff, would welcome members of our church in volunteering a small portion of their time to help watch over our church campus as we gather for worship on Sunday mornings.

This small allotment of time would help our Security Staff to extend its reach on Sunday mornings as “open eyes” that would help ensure the safety of family, friends, acquaintances, and visitors alike as we come together to honor God. Minimal training and a friendly smile are the only requirements!

For more information concerning this new volunteer opportunity — or to offer a small portion of your time to help increase the friendly visibility of our “open eyes” volunteer security initiative, please contact Ron Hicks, Director of Security (

God Bless You All,

Ron Hicks
Director of Security
