“815 million people in the world don’t get the food they need to live a healthy life.”

On Sunday, March 4, more than 100 FUMCFW volunteers will participate in our 4th annual Rise Against Hunger food packaging event. The Justin Youth Building will be buzzing with activity from 8:00 am – noon. The youth group will be all hands on deck working during their regular meeting time starting at 9:30 and dozens of other church members will join in for the last shift. Rise Against Hunger is an international initiative distributing food to some of the world’s most vulnerable population. The organization was founded in 1998 by United Methodist Minister Roy Buchanan.
FUMCFW volunteers join the thousands of volunteers across the globe who work to make a difference. Your contributions to our Christmas and Easter offerings make it possible for our church to purchase, pack, and ship the ingredients for the meal packets.
