Revolution Weekend 2013 is just around the corner!

By December 4, 2013Youth Ministries

Hello youth families and friends!

Many of you know Revolution Weekend well. It’s our biggest retreat of the year — and it’s coming up this January!!

We are extra excited about this year and think it’s going to be more energizing, more fun, more interesting, more full of surprises than ever! The theme this year is CAN’T STOP. We’ll start to see how God’s love is pretty world-rocking and life-changing. It’ll be pretty obvious that when God gets hold of us, God can’t be stopped! It’s exciting stuff. Awesome stuff. Contagious stuff. We will worship, connect in small groups, play outside, do some crazy challenges, get to know old friends better, and make new friends. We’ll be challenged to start taking steps in faith that will last way beyond Revolution Weekend.

Here’s the basic info:

Who: You (and all the friends you invite) attend

Adult volunteers who hang out, keep you safe, and lead you through the weekend

Bus Seven (band out of Dallas) leads us in worship

Lance Marshall (pastor of Fifth 7th, all around cool guy) speaks at worship gatherings and hangs out with us

God (self-explanatory)

When: Saturday, January 18th – Monday, January 20th

We will take a bus out there together. It will leave Saturday around noon and return Monday around 1 pm. If you need to drive/ride out separately, just talk to the youth staff to work it out!

Where: Glen Lake Camp and Retreat Center / Glen Rose, TX

How much: $125 for students; $75 for friends/guests; $75 for adult chaperones Scholarships available! Just call the youth office!

This is our 5th year of Revolution!! And it’s going to be the biggest one ever! So make it a point to come, get your homework done early, leave your stress behind, invite some friends, and trust us. It will be awesome. We just need you there! You can register online this year! How convenient is that?! CLICK HERE to register now — and if not now, be sure to register by January 12th.
