Rejoicing for What We Are Grateful

“It is important not only to be joyful but to think about a specific reason for rejoicing. They can be as simple as: God’s daily provisions for you — food, shelter, clothing. Relationships with loved ones can also be a rich source of Joy . . . Choosing to rejoice will bless you and those around you.”

— Sarah Young

This Sunday join me in practicing these words of wisdom. Stop by our Gratitude Table in the garden and write down a blessing or two for which you are grateful.

As mentioned above, you may express gratefulness for the simple things of life, for loved ones, for FUMCFW or a special FUMCFW ministry or program.

Over the next week, we want to cover our Gratitude Tree with leaves of your blessings.

I also want to give a quick update and shout out of thanks to the 167 members/households who have returned their 2019 Commitment Card. Thanks to you we are at 18% of our 2019 goal.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at or at 817-339-5098, if you have any questions or comments.

I look forward to seeing you in the garden this Sunday.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Nancy Fisher
Director of Stewardship
