Hey parents and kids!
Dr. Mike, Ms. Janice, and the children’s ministry are preparing for Palm Sunday — and we need your help.
First, we’d like for you to go outside and find a “palm branch” — which in this case can be an actual branch of a palm if you have one, or any other small branch from a tree, a shrub, or a flower. (Or you can even make your “palm branch” at home!)
And then, we’d like for parents to make a short (no more than 15 seconds) video of your children waving their “palm branches” — and maybe even shouting, “Hosanna” — so we can include these videos in our Palm Sunday online worship services next Sunday morning.
We’d like as many videos as we can get so that our media team can assemble a virtual parade of young FUMCFW palm wavers to celebrate Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem.
Once you have your video recorded, please come back here to fumcfw.org/palmvideo and click on big button below to upload the file to us, right from your smartphone or tablet, by noon on Thursday, April 2.*
If you have trouble with that button – please try this link – https://www.dropbox.com/request/PZSKtBm13qGZcYfBUIgD
*If you miss the deadline, please go ahead and upload your video. We can’t guarantee that we can fit it in, but we’ll try! Upload it as soon as you can.
This link should work well on IOS and Android devices as well as laptops and desktop computers.
Here are the steps for uploading on an iPhone:
The above button should take you to this page, where you’ll need to click on Choose Files.
(Don’t worry – you don’t need to sign in to Dropbox. That’s just what we’re using to collect these precious videos.)
Then you need to select PHOTO LIBRARY
Select the Videos Catagory
Select the video you wish to upload.
The video you selected should have a blue check mark. Then click on Done in the upper right hand corner.
Finally – Fill in your First and Last Name and your email address. and click UPLOAD
