“No one is invisible” is the theme this January as community volunteers prepare to pour out across Tarrant and Parker counties to participate in the Point in Time Homeless Count (PIT Count) for Tarrant County Homeless Coalition. The PIT is an extensive, community-wide effort to find, count, and survey everyone who is experiencing homelessness at a particular point in time — this year, Thursday, January 28, 2016.
Tarrant County Homeless Coalition needs 500 volunteers to assist in the count. Here are some basics:
• Volunteers need to be at least 18 years of age
• You can create and sign up your own team of 3 to 5 people
• Training and security is provided
• 8:00 pm to 1:00 am
You can sign up or find more information by visiting www.ahomewithhope.org, or by calling 817/509-3635.
Please consider volunteering to ensure that no one is invisible.
