“Our real journey in life is interior; it is a matter of growth, deepening, and of an ever greater surrender to the creative action of love and grace in our hearts. Never was it more necessary for us to respond to that action.”
— Thomas Merton, 1968
In these desert, often dark days of Lent, we are invited to go deeper into the true center of our faith journey and follow the creative action of love and grace in our hearts.
Come join us at “The Oasis” in Leonard Chapel from 10:35 – 10:55 am. This Sunday we will have special music for meditation by Dace Sultanov on cello and Hans Grim on piano.
“The Oasis” is a time of Meditative Music and Heavenly Manna. This simple, brief Communion service is a time for deep soul care for spiritual strength and wisdom through the darkness that leads to the gifts of new life.
