Last Academy Sunday

Hi Families,

This Sunday is the finale of our 16th semester of Academy Sunday School!
If you haven’t yet taken an opportunity to thank your child’s teacher, I hope you will.
Our teachers are the absolute backbone of what we do.

On Sunday, May 26 (Memorial Day Weekend) we will have Sunday School, but it will be way relaxed (movie with a message type day).

June 2 will be “Promotion Sunday” and we will consider each child based on the grade they will enter in the fall.
That means Pre-K will come upstairs for summer Sunday School.
(We will keep the 6th graders until Confirmations begins in the fall.)

Our summer curriculum will include:
The Gospel According to Pixar (our popular summer film series)
Play Together, Prayer Together (classic toys as instruments for prayer and devotional time)
Creative Connections — just you wait! We have ordered tons of cool new equipment that would be the envy of any children’s museum.
We’ve developed prayers and devotional content to help children make creative connections between the wonder of exploration and the wonders of God’s amazing love.

This summer is going to be fun! And we still need volunteers!

Director of Children’s Ministries
