7:00 – 8:00 pm | Chapel

Jayme Vaughn-Linebarger, soprano, will present a voice recital titled “A Little Bit in Love: Benefit Recital.” Jayme earned her undergraduate degree from Texas Wesleyan University majoring in Music Education and will begin her graduate studies in Vocal Performance at Texas Tech University in Fall 2017. Jayme has taught private voice lessons for the past year at Central High School in Keller, Texas. She has been an active and beloved choir member at FUMCFW over the past 8 years, serving as a section leader in Choral Union and as a member of Adoramus Chamber Choir.

This benefit recital is free to the public. Donations will be accepted, which will be applied toward Jayme’s expenses to attend Opera in Concert in Italy this summer — an intense three-week program held in the beautiful historic city, Urbino, where Jayme will study voice with lessons twice weekly and receive Italian diction classes, musical and dramatic coaching, and master classes on various subject matters.

Accompanist Amy Madrid and Avary Vaughn, mezzo soprano, will join Jayme in this delightful recital with works of Mozart, Fauré, Brahms, and more. Join us for this lovely evening of music presented by our own Jayme Vaughn-Linebarger!
