How to Practice Unbounded Generosity in 2018

Nancy FisherAnd God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough, you may share abundantly in every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

Begin With Prayer

Thank God for blessing you, and ask for guidance and discernment.

Assess Your Income and Giving

Consider your annual income, your current situation, and your current giving.

If you are not regularly giving to FUMCFW, consider making a Commitment to giving $5 per week/$20 monthly by completing a Commitment Card for our Ministry & Operating Fund.

If you currently practice the discipline of giving on a consistent basis or in fulfillment of your 2017 Commitment, thank you for your faithfulness! Please consider returning a 2018 Commitment Card and increasing your annual Commitment over the past year’s giving by 1 to 3 percent as your 2018 goal.

If you are giving a tithe of 10 percent of your household income, thank you for your leadership in giving! Please return your 2018 Commitment Card and prayerfully consider moving beyond the tithe as a reflection of your Unbounded Generosity.

Take a look at the “Ways to Give” and select the option that is best.

Return Your 2018 Commitment Card

Our Committee on Finance will use these Commitments to forecast and develop our 2018 budget to fund the ministries and programs of our church for the upcoming year. Clergy and program directors are already making plans for 2018 — your Commitment is what brings these plans to life! Turn in your Commitment Card (or make one online) on or by November 12 and receive a very special token of appreciation.

Celebrate With Gratitude

Join us November 12 on Fifth Street after worship as we celebrate and give thanks for your Unbounded Generosity. Fun activities, music, along with two food trucks selling from a family-friendly lunch menu will make for a time of unbounded and joyful fellowship.
