So in the first four days, Summer JAM is already half full.
The good news for those who haven’t registered yet? It’s still half empty.
That means there are still slots left, but don’t procrastinate on this one.
Summer JAM fills up way faster than anything else we do.
And here are our Holy Week experiences:
Maundy Thursday (March 29 in the Chapel) — Will include Holy Communion, a foot washing ceremony, and the story of Jesus’ last night with his friends.
Good Friday (March 30 in Wesley Hall) — This is one of the signature services of the year for children and families.
We take on one of the most challenging stories of our faith through powerful worship that respects both scripture and the tender hearts of our children.
(Those of you who have attended in the past know how meaningful this service is. We are introducing a couple of new shadow images this year.)
Each service begins at 6:15, with dinner at 5:30 in Room 350.
Easter Egg Hunt — at Lyle Lodge (10:00 am – 1:00 pm) Saturday, March 31
Why you should make an effort to come as a family:
- Lyle Lodge is beautiful — right on the banks of Eagle Mountain Lake. It’s a perfect setting for a Saturday family picnic. (7179 Peden Road in Azle, Texas)
- We will have THREE food trucks this year, so the lines should be much shorter. And tickets are FREE.
- Petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, games, cookie decorating, and four Easter egg hunt divisions. The Easter Bunny will be there, too.
- LIVE BUTTERFLY RELEASE!!!
Have a LOVELY weekend,
