James 1:17

Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

 

Food for Thought:

In this passage, the author reminds us that every perfect gift is from above. Think about what perfect gifts that you have been given in your life and praise God for these gifts.

Loving God, make us quick to listen and slow to speak, that the word implanted in us may take root to nourish all our living, and that we may be blessed in our doing and fruitful in action. In your precious name we pray, Amen.
