Welcome to G-force VBS at FUMCFW!

Staff_Burrows, MarkWelcome to G-force VBS at FUMCFW!

We’re looking so forward to your children joining us to learn all about and practice God’s Love in Action!

We’ll be sending daily emails with important info, so stay tuned. You can also go “like” our Facebook page — FUMC-Fort Worth VBS. We’ll be posting info on there all week as well! Here’s some info to get you started!

Every camper will need to check in to find out their classroom and pick up t-shirt and CD.

  • Early check-in available on Sunday in the garden from 10:00 am – Noon.
  • Monday morning check-in will start at 8:00 am on 5th street. We’re really hoping to have everyone checked in and settled in Wesley Hall so all the fun can start at 9:00 am So, come early so there isn’t a rush right at 9:00!

All grades EXCEPT 3 year olds and Pre-K will start in Wesley Hall each morning. 3 year olds and Pre-K will begin in their classrooms. All classes (EXCEPT 3rd & 6th grade) will dismiss from their classrooms. Church staff will be stationed around the church on Monday and Tuesday starting at 11:45 to help direct people to their children’s classes.

Being a downtown church, there is a finite number of parking spaces available. We’ve gone to great lengths to free up spots for this week, but the more you can carpool with friends, the better!

Colors for each day — (neon if you have it!) so you can plan your flare!

Monday — Orange
Tuesday — Green
Wednesday — Blue
Thursday — Yellow
Friday — Purple

Mission Store:

This year at VBS our Kid to Kid Mission Store will benefit children in our own city as well as children halfway around the world. Each day right before and after VBS out Super Sixers will run the store right outside Wesley Hall.

VBS kids are encouraged to bring $1 each day to help provide back-to-school supplies for our friends at T.A. Sims Elementary School. And the proceeds from the Mission Store will go to the friends we’ve made in Kenya, as part of the African Orphan Endeavor.

Here’s a video to get you excited and tell a little more about our mission focus and art projects this week!

Let us know if you have any questions! Otherwise, we’ll see you Monday morning!
