Become Part of A Young Reader’s Transformation!

By May 31, 2019

What do you get when you combine 26 college-age young adults with a passion for ministry and service, 150 underserved Fort Worth children, and FUMCFW volunteers willing to serve just two hours a day during two assigned in June?

Project Transformation!

This summer-long program offers the opportunity to sit with some of our littlest citizens and simply listen to them read during a two-hour shift.  With just a couple of hours of your time you can become part of helping these children maintain and maybe even surpass the progress they achieved in their past school year in their reading skills.

The bonus?  The immeasurable blessing you receive by sharing just two short hours of your time to help foster a lifelong benefit for young readers!

Ready to get involved? Get online now and sign-up! Choose as many days as you wish, 9:30 to noon, June 10, 11, 13 and June 17, 18, 19, 20.

Project Transformation is held at University United Methodist Church, 2416 West Berry Street, Fort Worth

Registration and Ministry Safe training required — it only takes a few minutes and will be good for two years of volunteer work with children and teens with FUMCFW.
