Following last week’s ice-and-snowpocalypse, you may be wondering what effect all that foul weather has had on our Next90 Phase I Building Expansion project.
In a word, none.
According to Mark Sorley, FUMCFW Construction Administrator, because they were able to pour the concrete for the floor of the vault just before the weather episodes hit, our construction manager he feels confident they can get the rest of the concrete poured in three and a half pours instead of the originally scheduled six, essentially making up for the time lost due to weather.
“Making up those lost days by adjusting the pour schedule will definitely help us keep on schedule,” Mark adds. Meanwhile, he continues to meet with consultants regarding Information Technology (IT) upgrades and other related work for the expansion.
