Shout Out to Mark Burrows!

By September 12, 2019

Many if not most of us know him as our own “Mister Mark,” innovator and developer of our thriving FUMCFW Children’s Ministries. And you may even know about his amazing baritone voice, his work as a published author of several beautiful children’s books, and as composer of many Youth Choir Senior Songs, VBS ditties, and numerous children’s musicals.

But what you may not know about this creative dynamo is his talent and renown as a published composer of many acclaimed musical works performed by adult choirs and performers nationwide. This week, major music publisher JW Pepper featured Mark in a video as part of their “Inside Voice” series featuring their top “Editor’s Choice” composers. Next Week, Mark will be heading out to New Mexico for the premiere of a commissioned piece he wrote for the New Mexico Peace Choir!

Check out this amazing video interview and be sure to congratulate Mark when you see him for these very special accomplishments — on top of his very busy day job as “Mister Mark!”

“I feel so grateful, and HONORED to be part of this series,” Mark comments. “I’m so thankful to the amazingly talented team at J.W. Pepper for inviting me and for putting this together.”
