MJM’s Christmas 2020

By December 4, 2020

This Christmas will be “different” for a lot of people due to the lingering effects of COVID-19.

It will be particularly true for the clients of the Methodist Justice Ministry, who are victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and neglect. With the continued support of our ministry, they are on their way to becoming survivors.

Please join us this year in sponsoring a child or a family by granting their Christmas wish. In doing so, you will hold out your candle to light up their world.

There are three ways you can help make MJM Clients’ holiday season bright this year:

  1. Donate a monetary gift online at methodistjusticeministry.org
  2. Sponsor a child or family by emailing Norma Serrano Castilla at nserrano@myfumc.org or call 817-264-2134. When you email Norma with your desire to become a sponsor (Please add your name, mailing address and cell phone number along with how many children in a family you would like to adopt, e.g. a parent with 2 children.), you will be provided with a child or family’s name, gender, age, and wish list. (If you are purchasing clothing, make sure to include tags and /or receipts.) You can also support a parent or caregiver by giving them a gift card to a major retail store, such as Target, or Walmart so that they may purchase gifts.
  3. Purchase a gift card or gas card and drop it off at MJM Office, attention Norma Serrano Castilla, by Monday, December 7th at 4:00

Delivery of gifts (unwrapped, please!) and gift cards are due at Methodist Justice Ministry Office, 750 West 5th Street Fort Worth, 76102:

Monday December 7 | 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Tuesday December 8 | 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Wednesday December 9 | 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Thank you for supporting our Methodist Justice Ministry and those we serve this holiday season with your prayers, your gifts, and the light of your love!
