Give yourself an early Christmas gift for your soul: a mid-December mini-retreat for time simply to be in quiet, prayerful reflection.
Join us in Wesley Hall on Sunday, December 15th, anytime between 1:00 and 6:00 pm for this special opportunity to relax, reflect, and feed your soul and center yourself in this season of Joy.
There will be an opening time of introduction, prayer, and special music beginning at 1:00 pm, and then you are welcome to walk the FUMCFW Labyrinth at your own pace, for as long as you’d like. You, your friends, neighbors, and family are welcome to come anytime between 1:00 and 6:00 pm to enjoy this wonderful opportunity to take a pause from the busy-ness of the season in this specially created Sunday afternoon oasis.
Throughout the afternoon there will be opportunities to learn about and walk the Prayer Labyrinth, explore Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina (Sacred Reading), the Enneagram, and other prayer practices that can help you nurture your soul and be present to the new life in Christ being born in you this season of Advent.
If you have any questions or would like to send in special prayer concerns, contact Dr. Len Delony at LDelony@myfumc.org or call 817-339-3880.
