Dementia Friendly Fort Worth

First Street Methodist Mission, Methodist Justice Ministry, and Dementia Friendly Fort Worth are taking part in North Texas Giving Day, Thursday, September 20. Every donation of $25 and above you make will be multiplied with bonus funds and prizes!

First Street Methodist Mission, Methodist Justice Ministry, and Dementia Friendly Fort Worth are three vital ministries of the FUMCFW faith community. Because these are also three distinctly separate entities, your North Texas Giving Day gifts must be designated individually to each ministry. Thank you for all you do to support these ministries of our church!

First Street Methodist Mission strives to meet the basic needs of others — such as food, clothing, and infant formula — in an atmosphere of respect and love for all of God’s children while acknowledging that we receive so much more than we give.

When you donate to First Street Methodist Mission:

Methodist Justice Ministry was founded in 2006, first to protect indigent women and children from domestic violence, neglect and abuse; and second to help them lead new lives free of violence, abuse, fear, and self-loathing. A special opportunity offered by a generous donor will match your donation up to $20,000 for Methodist Justice Ministry!

When you donate to Methodist Justice Ministry:

Dementia Friendly Fort Worth offers education for dementia awareness and understanding; helps develop better services for persons with dementia and their care partners; influences community sectors to become dementia friendly in daily interactions with persons with dementia; and encourages practices and opportunities to enrich the lives of persons with dementia and their care partners.
