Chrismons Hung on Our Tree With Care

By December 7, 2017

Every year after Thanksgiving, FUMCFW kicks off the holidays with the decorating of our 15-foot Chrismon tree in the Narthex that celebrates the birth of Jesus with more than 600 Christian monograms that were handmade by volunteers from our congregation. “Please stop by to see the beautiful Chrismon Tree that our fantastic volunteers put up and decorated last Saturday morning,” says Rev. Chuck Graff. “Thanks to Ann and Wayne Maddox and Windle Watkins for all of their help organizing this amazing blessing to our congregation, and to all those pictured (plus Byron Baird not shown who served). Wayne and Ann’s granddaughter has helped us all eight years, and she is a great worker!”
